Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data ohdock ("we") collects when you use https://ohdock.com, why, and what rights you have. It applies under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
Who is responsible
ohdock is run by an individual, not a company. The controller is Jiang Wenhuang, Building C01, Software Park Phase 3, Jimei District, Xiamen, Fujian, China. Contact: hello@ohdock.com.
What we collect
- The free tools (compliance checker, label generator, procedures builder) run in your browser. What you type is stored only in your browser’s local storage so you can come back to it. It is not sent to us.
- Provider requests and waitlists. When you submit a form we store your name, email, company, country, message, the page you used, your language, the version of the consent text you agreed to, and the choices you made in the checker (for example product types and countries).
- Security data. We store a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) to limit abuse, and standard server logs kept for a short period.
- No tracking cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To pass your request to up to three service providers who may contact you: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To email you when a product launches (waitlist): your consent.
- To protect the service from spam and abuse: our legitimate interests.
Who receives it
Service providers you asked to be introduced to (only with your consent); our hosting and database providers, which process data on our behalf. Some providers may pay us a referral fee; we never sell your data.
Where it is stored
Our servers and database are located in Singapore. Transfers from the EU and UK are protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum or international data transfer agreement.
How long we keep it
Requests are deleted 24 months after you submit them; click records after 13 months; abuse counters after 2 days. You can ask us to delete your data earlier.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing hello@ohdock.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (for example the ICO in the UK).
